Not Just Odonata

Mandy: Welcome! First things first. It all started because of Odonata... or dragonflies! More specifically, the Odonata of Langkawi. The intention is to compile a checklist of dragonflies found in Langkawi, which is a project I have chosen to venture into at the beginning of the year in 2009. And, I would like to share with you the stories of my 'hunt' for these dragonflies and damselflies in and around Langkawi. Along the way, it is also difficult to not want to photograph any of the insects or other creatures that I may come across on my 'dragonfly hunting' trips or even the trees or the beauty of the places where I do my jaunts, and tell their stories. Add to that, my thoughts on everything else that go hand in hand with it all. Without them, these stories would not be complete. So, it is mostly about dragonflies and damselflies, but... 'Not Just Odonata'! Dragonflies can be quite intriguing. And nature too is fascinating. I hope you will like them too.
