Seashells!

The skies were stormy when I woke up this morning but I went for a walk on the beach anyway.

There were lots of seashells, all washed up onto the beach by the surf.

And you could feel them crunching under your feet with every step you take.

There were lots of cockle shells as usual and a lot more clam shells than usual.

What was not usual was the razor clam shell that I did find.  And as I walked along, I also saw a few pen shells, some auger shells, lots of scallop shells, a few cones and plenty of murex shells too.

It had started raining...

Although I was prepared with a rainjacket and continued to enjoy my walk, photos of all these shells would just have to wait.
